Q & A

Q: What language was MegaClick programmed in?
A: The DOS version was done in QBasic. The Windows version was written using Visual C++ 6.0 and MFC, and the original code as a reference.

Q: Are you STILL programming in QBasic?
A: My final QBasic project was DUEL: Shadow of the Darksiders Ver. C. I am now finished with QBasic, with the exception of the occasional "let's just do this quick."

Q: I've seen these games (or ones like them) before. Are you a ripoff artist?
A: No! As you can see, I'm not asking money for this. Plus, there are definite differences in my versions of the games. I did this mostly for 1) programming experience and 2) fun: my fun, as well as the fun others can have playing this! If you want to see somebody trying to make money off of someone else's ideas, check out Snood...

Q: I like MegaClick. Are you ever going to expand it?
A: I'm now finished with the MegaClick project. Surely there's at least one game you haven't mastered! Or, try the Random course for more fun!

Q: Where did the background pictures come from?
A: Complete photo credits are listed in the included ReadMe file. I located many of the photos at stock.xchng, the free stock photo site.

Q: What's Internet Ranking?
A: Internet Ranking allows you to compete against people from around the world! (MegaClick-6 for Windows only.) When starting a new Arcade or Challenge mode game, check the "Internet Ranking" box. (The box will be disabled if you have modified your game options; in that case, you may restore the default options to re-enable it.) After your game is finished, you will receive a code. Enter the code on the Internet Ranking page... if your score is high enough, you'll be listed in the ranking! (The page has been closed due to lack of interest. If you are interested, e-mail me your code, and if there's a significant enough demand, the page will be re-opened.)

Q: What other projects are you going to be working on?
A: I discuss them on my games page.

Q: You look like you have some good ideas, and I'd like to hire you as a game programmer! What do I do?
A: PLEASE, PLEASE e-mail me at yyr57695@aol.com!!! I'd love the job =)
